I had the exact same problem with “new post” downloading account data and not ending. I searched around and fixed it by installing hunspell from synaptic. All is working again.

I hope you continue with the functionality of being able to add images when offline and uploading them all when saving the draft or posting.

The only blogging app I’ve been able to use, WordPy for Maemo, was able to do this but unfortunately my Maemo device has died.

I’ve recently started writing a WordPress plugin to be installed on a local WordPress instance that uploads a copy of the post to the main remote WordPress blog. The results are satisfactory but the need to always have WordPress running locally makes it kind of cludgy.

Can BloGTK be used to maintain multiple blogs? For instance, if I have a blog on Blogger and another on WordPress, can I use BloGTK to create entries offline for both blogs? Also, can I set up BloGTK account settings for use with multiple blogs? Thanks.

I suggest you schedule feature to it
i think it is useful, especially when we do not want to post too many posts a day

Install blogtk from the standard repository
When run from console:

Traceback (most recent call last):

ImportError: No module named gtkhtml2

apt-file search gtkhtml2 – without result

Are you able to perhaps look in your sent items and forward me a copy of the guide to install Blogtk 2.0 that you wrote to S.W. Anderson June 16th, 2010 at 12:06 pm? I tried on Ubuntu 10.10 and then went back to 10.04 now and still having issues with it crashing on startup. I still have 2.0 installed but just crash. Sorry new to Linux also, I would appreciate any help at all as I cannot stand using Blogilo, it reminds me too much of Windows and Microsoft makes me depressed. Thanks in advance

Hello, i use Linux Mint Debian Edition, and this distrib isn’t compatible with ubuntu, but is with debian. So do you have a package for debian or only for ubuntu ?

A, found it! https://launchpad.net/~jayreding/+archive/ppa .. little hard to find (via FAQ, not via Downloads). I couldn’t find the PPA adres on the LP page (https://launchpad.net/blogtk/). Or do i miss something?
